a week agoNice upscale store. They had a good sale going on when we visited and we were able to get good deals on a few items.5 months agoStaff was so helpful. I needed a dress for a wedding. The lady helping me was pulling dresses I would have never picked for myself. She was spot on with her choices. I definitely would go back. Just wish they would put one in Michigan so I didn’t have to drive over an hour to get to one.3 months agoWent searching for a formal dress for my mother. VERY expensive. They had a few selections, but almost nothing in her size. Most dresses were revealing in a way that she didn’t want, or really weird/trendy. In the $200-600 range. Friendly staff, but they just didn’t have any stock that we were looking for. Disappointed.4 months agoNew to Dillard’s and we love it! We were amazed at the size and huge selection they have for men! I love the women’s shoe selection, purses and they carry my favorite cosmetic brand Estee Lauder. 6 months agoDillard’s people that worked here were VERY snotty! No one wanted to help me. Hunting prom dresses and a few bridesmaids gowns but I couldn’t find much here. There were only about 2 plus sizes in their collection. The dressing rooms were gross and falling apart. Water marks all over the ceiling and the carpet was super dirty! The pegs to hold the dresses were broken and the rooms were VERY hot and stuffy. It wasn’t a pleasant experience shopping here unfortunately… I did get a few pictures. I also took a few of the Nasty ceiling and carpet too…2 weeks agoCustomer service in the shoe department was a little off. As an African American Woman I pay more attention to customers service treatment. I didn’t feel that I received the best service at a time when the department was not very busy.3 months agoFantastic service by Christopher Baker in men’s shoe department on Sunday June 4! I have never seen anyone retrieve shoes from the stock room as quickly as Chris. I went today for a last minute Fathers Day gift and Amanda was amazing! She was super helpful and patient. I had my 3 year old with me and she was so nice to her. If I had an open position at my bank, I would try to get her to apply!!!
I was so lucky to speak with Anne in dresses today. She was so helpful and went well above and beyond my expectations. My mom tried on a dress a couple weeks back in the store but we decided to order it in a different color online. When the dress came, we did not like the other color in person. We returned it and ordered the original color she tried on (we live in Buffalo, NY otherwise we would have returned to the store). When the dress came it was totally different, though the UPC matched. The designer must have updated the design but the picture online is still showing the older version. I called the store to see if they could ship the dress to us directly, and sure enough they can!
Anne took the time to find the dress for me and she even took a picture and texted it to me to make sure it was the right version with the colors my mom wanted- and it was!
She very clearly explained how ordering in store worked and what to expect in terms of a timeline.
This is my mom’s mother-of-the-bride dress and we have spent so much time searching for the perfect one– it was so nice that Anne went the extra mile for us!

I had the most delightful curbside pickup experience at Dillard! The convenience was unparalleled – I placed my order online and when I arrived, my order was ready and brought out to my car promptly. The staff was incredibly friendly and ensured everything was perfectly packed. The food was fresh and delicious, just as if I had dined in. Dillard’s curbside pickup service exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to order from them again.
I had the BEST customer experience during my recent trip to Dillard’s. I was visiting Cleveland for the weekend from Chicago and at the last minute I decided that I wanted to celebrate my birthday – Barbie-style. Thus, I was in search of a pink dress to wear for a birthday dinner that evening with my 90-year old great aunt whose was also celebrating her birthday. Raquel Reid was the associate who helped me. She is AMAZING! Not only did she help me find the perfect dress but when I realized that I needed a new bra (so that the dress would fit perfectly), she was able to help me with that as well. Rachel left the women’s department to assist me with getting fitted with the perfect bra. She mentioned to me that women’s bras/lingerie is her specialty and I could definitely tell that was the case. As a full figure woman, I have always gone to specialty shops to get fitted (never a department store); however, Raquel changed all that for me. She fitted me perfectly! And in doing so I realized that the specialty stores had actually been fitting me improperly. WOW! The last thing I will share is that Raquel also recommended a Gianni Bini shoe that was on clearance that was a perfect match for my dress. She does not know this (until this review) but I bought the shoe and it got lots of compliments on my outfit. Thank you so much Raquel for the time you invested in making sure I had what I needed to make my Barbie birthday dinner special. You clearly take pride in what you do and put customers first – which did not go unnoticed by me. I want to also shout out a few other associates working on the 2nd floor that afternoon (8/18) who greeted me warmly and asked if they could assist me while I was racing through the store in search of the perfect pink dress (I thanked each of them and told them that Raquel was already assisting me). Hats off to you as well! When in Cleveland, Dillard’s Beachwood will definitely be my go-to department store.
